OUR STORY

The rich history of Transformation Center Church began as Jonesville Baptist Church, a humble congregation founded on faith, community, and a desire to serve God wholeheartedly. For many years, the church stood as a pillar within the community, faithfully ministering to generations of families and providing spiritual guidance during seasons of both triumph and challenge.

A defining moment in the church’s history came when Bishop James G. Rodges accepted the call to pastor the ministry. Under his visionary leadership and powerful preaching, the church experienced a spiritual transformation that would forever shape its future. Bishop Rodges led the congregation into the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, embracing Apostolic doctrine and the life-changing power of the Holy Ghost.

As the ministry grew in faith and purpose, the church began to experience exponential growth. Lives were changed, families were restored, souls were saved, and the presence of God became the foundation of the ministry’s impact. The church became known not only throughout the local community, but across regions and around the world, as a beacon of hope, truth, healing, and transformation. Through outreach, worship, leadership, and compassionate ministry, countless people encountered God within its walls.

In 2026, after years of growth and evolution, the church officially entered a new chapter by changing its name to Transformation Center Church. This historic transition represented more than a name change. It marked the beginning of a new era and a renewed vision for the future. The new name reflects the heart of the ministry: a place where people from every background, culture, and nation are welcomed to experience the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

Today, Transformation Center Church continues to stand as a light in the city and beyond, committed to building people, restoring hope, and empowering generations through the Word and power of God.
